me lol
but with udemy my courses sell better when they are above $100 versus $20 or $30
i priced my branding course at $49 and didnt give out any free coupons. made no sales for 3 months. then i changed it to $149 and gave out 1,000 free coupons. it’s made $369 in the past month and a half or so
so in that instance “the proof is in the pudding” as the people across the pond say
if you cap it say $49-$99 and someone buys it in that price range the student who buys that will most likely be more active and engaged
i would think anyways
and that;s why i need to write a book
well the good thing about that strategy sean is youre going to get BETTER students who will pay that price
dennis is ahead of the curve
@jeremydeighan I need write more.
@SocialMediaDJS will you write my book?
@jeremydeighan I’m tapped out time.
@goodcreativeedu Right, exactly!
i’ll get one of @scottjduffy many VAs to write it for me
they start hashing out 30-minute crappy courses
#truth
i cant take this
lol
i dont wanna hear this i’m out
find the blue ocean where you can be different and create the best course
I need to be more enthusiastic in some of my lessons
@jeremydeighan Be an original.
@SocialMediaDJS oh i’m 100% original baby
wait what is it?
they pay someone in a developing country on Upwork, then slaps their name on it and they are not a “coinstructor”
they get 50% of revenue but the guy from upwork made 100% of the work
50% or whatever they agree on
@scottjduffy is like to say thank you for the discount you have me through Mr Timberlake
William, you’re welcome! and thank you!
I co-developed a course with Kristen Palana but guess what, we actually each made 50% of the course! What an idea right.
@wslaise in a very indirect way lol
they say they are “co-teaching” the course…. huh?
@wslaise its a growing thing to do this the right way
you cannot ask them or send them to a page that asks for email
you kinda can, some instructors have figured it out
statistical program
business
@scottjduffy ok
