I understand they are working on it.
If you promote Udemy courses, you still don’t have control over the students that convert.
Yes. That has been taken away
Thanks Phil
Told it would be returned soon.
@BarbTUSA Thanks!
Well – you still have to refresh courses to make them relevant.
Especially anything technology related.
Teachable
You could buy a Panera for 50K
I am buying new desk
$25 for dinner in NY area== Not bad!
That’s a lot?
q/ do you sell courses on your own sites? if so did you adjust the prices to match your udemy courses?
@MiguelHernandez great question – I’ll respond after this one
Hey Phil, you mentioned doing YT ads for your courses, with your ads do you target mobile as well as desktop?
@DavidAult yes!
@DavidAult I’ve had limited success with OfCourse – Coursmos hasn’t done anything for me, and I’m getting started with Amazing.com
@MiguelHernandez Greg’s the man
@DigitalSO I was talking about making revenue from YT ads – I actually haven’t tried YT ads for promoting my own videos.
I met the CEO of Thinkific. I think it’s a more robust platform than Teachable
ah ok, thanks
I have my academy in Thinkific, they are awesome
@mbernstein924 awesome guy Greg 😉
Are you calling us programmers weird Dave? haha
Isn’t Amazing.com invite only?

These platforms are trying to grow by recruiting instructors and incentivizing them to drive traffic… Doesn’t work..
@etherealovers https://coursmos.com
Edurila = beware! He’ll steal your content and sell to 3rd parties and NOT pay you.
@JasonCannon will he?
He did that to me.
@JasonCannon :/
He uploaded my content… took the cash, etc.
Mukesh from Edurila, RUN
can someone share the the link for skill commerce? google search came up empty
@JasonCannon Thanks for the insights
Hola!!!
it’s stackcommerce
My pleasure man
Sold all my courses to a 3rd party. Glad I was on THEIR email list.. .or I would have never found out.
Our site we offer subscription— no individual sales. On Udemy only individual sales. You have to differentiate….
@mlassoff Planning to do the same, Mark!
@DaveEspino We also have couses on our site we don’t offer on Udemy and vice-versa… Target your audience on the platform… There are differences
@mlassoff Yup – same plan – glad to see it works for you – proven plan.
