Pinterest Adds Web Analytics

Bloggers, businesses, and organizations often ask us, “what are people pinning from my websites?” These website owners help create the content on Pinterest and we wanted to help them understand which pieces of content people find most interesting. Today, we’re pleased to announce Pinterest Web Analytics, a first step towards doing just that. Web Analytics gives site owners insights into how people are interacting with pins that originate from their websites. What’s available If you have a verified website, you’ll get information about how many people have pinned from your site, how many people have seen these pins, and how many people visited your site from Pinterest. We’ll also show you a selection of your most repinned, most clicked, and most recent pins so you have a better idea of what’s popular. For example, if you have a travel blog, you’ll be able to see whether people are pinning your ski vacation posts or beach vacation posts more. To get started, just follow these steps: 1. Get early access to Pinterest’s new look. 2. Make sure you have a verified website. If you have a website listed on your profile with a check mark next to it, you’re verified. If not, follow these steps to verify. 3. Once your website is verified, go to the top right menu and click on Analytics. 4. Start exploring! Change your date range to see how things have changed over time or download your analytics to sort through the data on your own time. Today’s announcement builds on the set of tools we offer for website owners includingbusiness accounts, Pin It buttons and board widgets. We think that these tools will help website owners understand what’s working for them and what’s not so that they can create even better pins in the future. We even updated our business site with new tips and case studies to make things easier. Over the coming months, we hope to add new tools and more detailed insights, so let us know what else you would like to see. Source: Pinterest Blog

WordPress CBPress Affiliate Internet Marketing Plugin

WordPress CBPress Affiliate Internet Marketing Plugin CBPress is a plugin for WordPress that allows internet marketers the ability to sell affiliate marketing products from Clickbank.com on their website. The plugin sells for $27 but one sell on Clickbank would pay for the plugin. The plugin allows you to import Clickbank products and then choose what you want to display on your website. Here on ILearnWP.com we use it for our WP Marketplace to display what we think are the best WordPress products on Clickbank. There are plenty of features and the plugin is easy to setup your own storefront. Check out the video for more information on CB Press.

Guide to Facebook Content Marketing – [INFOGRAPHIC]

Here are some great tips on ways to post to Facebook that will get you more engagement from more “Likes” and comments. Photos and Videos product 180% more engagements than text alone. That’s huge! Try asking a question or do a fill in the blank. I saw one page giving away a prize by asking followers to guess a number between 1 and 200. Keeping it short (3 lines max.) and simple generates 60 percent more likes, comments and shares. What are you doing to increase your page engagement? How-to Assign a Facebook Username URL for your Facebook Fan Page

Does your Facebook Fan Page have a long URL (web address) that is hard to remember? Most don’t know that you can change this and make it easy to share your page with others. All you have to do is go to http://www.facebook.com/username and find your fan page in the drop-down list. Select the page that you would like to create the special username URL for. Facebook requires that most pages have 25 likes before you can do this. So you might want to ask close friends and family members to “Like” your page before you so this. Ask them to check “Get Notifications” when they do this so they get notified when you update your page. Once you’ve selected the fan page from the drop-down list you need to enter your desired username to check if it is available. Facebook will let you know if your choice is available and then you would save your new username.   How-to Assign a Facebook URL Username for your Facebook Fan Page – Video Now that you have your own special Facebook URL Username you can share it on business cards, brochure and any other marketing material you have for your business. Do you have a Facebook Fan Page? Leave your new special Username URL in the comments below and let our readers know about your fan page. Thanks for reading!
